Limited Product Warranty
​
XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film
Warranty Term: 10 years from the installation date
Coverage: Manufacturing Defects and Adhesive Failure Only

This Limited Warranty expressly warrants to the original owner that for a period of ten (10) years (the "Warranty Period") from the date of installation, the XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film (the "Product") will be free from defects in manufacturing and adhesive failure. This Limited Warranty applies only to installations performed by authorized XPEL installers in accordance with recommended procedures.
If the Product fails solely due to a manufacturing defect within the Warranty Period, the defective portion of the Product will be replaced without charge for parts. Labor costs associated with removal and reinstallation will not be covered. The replacement film will be installed by an authorized installer. The replaced film will be subject to the remaining Warranty Period of the original installation, and the Warranty Period will not be extended or renewed.

Warranty Coverage

This Limited Warranty covers:

Manufacturing Defects: Defects in the film itself, such as material flaws.

Adhesive Failure: Peeling or delaminating due to failure of the adhesive used in the installation.

What Is Not Covered
​
This Limited Warranty does not cover the following:
​

Improper curing, bubbling, or cracking of the film caused by factors unrelated to manufacturing defects.

Installation-related issues due to improper handling, stretching, or misapplication of the film.

Pre-existing damage to the vehicle’s paint surface before the installation of the Product.

Normal wear and tear, scratches, scuffs, chips, or damage caused by road debris.

Discoloration, fading, or staining caused by environmental factors, chemical exposure, or improper maintenance.

Damage caused by accidents, collisions, vandalism, or external forces like rocks or debris.
-
Improper or unauthorized modification, removal, or alteration of the Product after installation.
-
Damage from using abrasive cleaning materials or improper wash techniques, including automatic car washes with harsh brushes or high-pressure water.

Damage resulting from exposure to chemical agents, solvents, or cleaning products not approved by XPEL.
-
Use of non-XPEL branded ceramic coatings applied over the Product.
-
Water spots or stains caused by mineral deposits left on the film.

Damage caused by fire, flood, surface rust, or paint overspray.
-
Areas of the vehicle that have not been re-wrapped after a paint or body repair.

Filing a Claim
​
To obtain warranty service, you must submit a warranty claim with the following:

Proof of purchase and installation (warranty certificate or receipt)

A description and evidence (photos or video) of the defect

Contact information, including name, phone number, and address

Claims must be submitted to the authorized XPEL installer who performed the installation. The cause of the defect will be determined during an inspection.

Disclaimer of Warranties
​
This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon proper care, storage, installation, and use of the Product in accordance with the guidelines. No additional express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are provided. All other warranties are expressly disclaimed.

Limitation of Liability
​
Liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective Product. Under no circumstances shall liability extend to indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of business opportunities, or damage to goodwill.

Note: This Limited Warranty is non-transferable unless the new owner provides proof of the original installation date and the remaining Warranty Period. Transfer of ownership will only entitle the new owner to coverage for the remainder of the Warranty Period.
